Matinee: Die Schöne Lesung mit Wolf Haas

Kaum ein Autor ruft mit seinen Büchern so verschiedenenartige Formen des Lachens hervor wie Wolf Haas: Kaputtlachen aufgrund der grandiosen Komik. Ogott-Lachen aufgrund des Schwarzen Humors. Staunendes Auflachen aufgrund der hirnverdrehenden Handlungsverläufe. Stilles, trauriges Lachen an den melancholischen Stellen. Dazwischen durchgehendes Lächeln, weil seine Bücher so einzigartig sind.

Wolf Haas‘ neuer Roman „Wackelkontakt“ beginnt mit dem Trauerredner Franz Escher, der ein Problem hat. Seine Steckdose hat den Geist aufgegeben. Während er auf den Elektriker wartet, liest er ein paar Seiten. Das Buch handelt von Elio Russo, dem Kronzeugen im großen Mafia-Prozess. Elio sitzt im Gefängnis und wartet auf seine Entlassung. Er hat so viele Leute verraten, dass er um sein Leben fürchten muss. Aus Angst hält er sich nachts in seiner Zelle wach und liest in einem Buch. Es handelt von Franz Escher. Escher wartet schon den halben Vormittag auf den Elektriker. Seine Steckdose hat einen Wackelkontakt. – radioeins rbb
