A bit of good news!   our #PurdueFortWayne ๐Ÿ˜ department collaborates with Indiana University and #IUI on an annual conference series, which has been supported by the National Science Foundation for approx. 10 years.  We have just received notice that this year's grant has been approved at all levels.  There was some reduction in the $ amount of the award compared to our request but we still have some previous years' funding that we can use through a no-cost extension.  Especially during these "difficult funding environment" times, this is a significant accomplishment for my junior colleague who is the PI on the application.

So stay tuned for a conference announcement and I can share more details privately if anyone else is working on similar grants.
