Вот и я стал обладателем Android-смартфона. Купил через Авито Cubot J20 всего за 2000 рублей с доставкой. Приглянулся он мне своей маленькой ценой, экраном на 4 дюйма и съёмным аккумулятором. Также он умеет в LTE и на нём стоит Android 12.

Давно думал перейти на андроид. Главная причина была возможность свободно программировать свои приложения в linux. Чем я активно и занимаюсь сейчас.

По ощущениям, ширпотреб ещё тот. Очень неудобная клавиатура. iPhone4 со своим экраном на 3,5 дюйма ощутимо удобнее.

Некрасивый и подтупливающий интерфейс. Material You с её «надписями» вместо кнопок, в которые не сразу попадёшь пальцем. Как-же это не удобно. Куда катится мир?...

Интернет потихоньку ест сам по себе постоянно. Не зря сделали множество настроек для контроля трафика. Они хоть как-то помогают. Но как модем, он работает хорошо. Драйвера не нужны.

Discord replacement seems to have come down to stoat.chat or @fluxer.app

Personally I like #Fluxer more since it can be self hosted if you want (not required though) but also because #Stoat make their desktop app #MaterialYou which IMO is the most disgusting and worst UX design language to ever be created and no one should EVER use it. But feature-wise Stoat seems OK.

UPDATE  : The developer responded quickly with a pretty detailed explanation (including a code screenshot o_o) of what the app collects and the purposes. It's just the ads in the free version, and crash analytics.

No other spying seems to be planned:

『 I do not have any intention to collect user data for resale or other purposes, nor to spam users with random full-screen ads. I have another app, and in that project I often received offers to “increase conversions” by integrating some questionable tools, which I am not interested in. 』

I bought the premium version and the app is great. Definitely recommending!
