Did you spend all your money in Black Friday sales or do you have something left to give on Giving Tuesday? ;) Specifically, I’d like to draw your attention to Distribute Aid!

Thanks to some generous donors, any donations on Giving Tuesday up to our goal amount of $25k will be matched! That means that if you donate $20, our big donors will match that, and Distribute Aid will get $40! Neat, innit?

So what does that kind of money do? A lot of good, is what! Donations enable Distribute Aid to get humanitarian aid to refugees all over Europe, the US, and in Lebanon's Bekka Valley. That means people get coats, tents, food, soap, etc. all those things that people should rightfully have access to but so often don’t in this world.

And yeah, as you might have noticed recently, Distribute Aid is where I run the Open Source Explorers program, but I’m only tangentially and indirectly involved in the humanitarian work by hopefully making the tech happen that helps things run more smoothly. It’s the work that our logistics and admin teams do that is so vital, but it’s only possible if people donate to fund their work.
