imagine there's a way of shrinking oneself and I wanted to shrink down and be swallowed to find out what it's like in your belly, and neither of us would be harmed, would you agree to it?

Since #mastodon is federated, if I post something on Ruby.Social and follow myself on Mastodon.Social, I see my post on both. But if followers are server-specific (which I believe they are), does that mean I need to boost or repost my toot for it to have local visibility on the non-original server?

These sorts of things may be obvious to veteran #mastodonites, but are a little confusing to newbies like me. Thoughts? Suggestions? RTFM comments with links?

So is it #Mastodonians? #Mastodonites? I've been using one but I'm okay with either...
