It would be nice to have the option to kill notifications past a threshold here. I like getting notice of say the first 20 boost / favorite on a post, but after that, I'm good.

So, for now, just killing notifications on boost / follow globally for the rest of the night.

A Mastodon app feature I’d love is a post frequency rate (i.e., “This user posts an average of 365 times per week”) on each profile page so I can quickly include that data in an informed decision about whether to follow them. (cc @ivory)

To heck with quote-toots*, what would actually be awesome is the ability to add a CW when I boost something that was not originally CW'd. #MastodonWishlist

(*Not really, I do miss being able to provide context and commentary on why I boosted something and not being able to sometimes keeps me from sharing stuff. But I mostly understand the arguments against and can live without them.)

kopiti.am went offline over the National Day holiday due to an expiring cert which they fixed it a day later. But it also meant that for about an evening or so, I wonder if my #Mastodon instance is off the internet - for good!

Would be good if there’s a way where the server or the admin will trigger some form of PSA announcement which basically says “hey we’re just temporary offline…” instead of just leaving the user hanging.

Ability to add followed hashtags as a List - to help separate from Home timeline

I would like to have the ability to embed an external image file (say a file posted to postimages.org) in a toot like a youtube video.

This feature would help reduce the amount of disk storage required for many instances.
