I intended to set some satisfying cartoonish elephant sound as notification sound for my #Mastodon phone app. ππ Feel free to reuse!
If you like, don't forget to share it.

Switched from official Mastodon Android app to Tusky cuz the FLASHING in official is driving me nuts. (As in, 1 in 4 times I touch the screen, something flashes/highlights for a second. Especially annoying with long posts that give a real big retina-burning flash β‘οΈ.)
Why does the Mastodon official app for Android not have translation included? It is a feature of the official website, that is sorely missed on its small screen companion.
The Mastodon android app, Moshidon has the ability to translate some languages, so it does seem strange that it's been left out of the official app.
@MattFerrel π Perhaps adding #FediHelp and #MastodonApp #MastodonMobileApp #iOS will help draw attention from the right people. # FediTips seems to be more for offering unsolicited advice, as far as I can tell.
(I'm an Android user so, personally, no idea, sorry)
Help! Mastodon started making sounds when I use it, and it appears to be trying to Airdrop something. Any idea why or how to turn it off?
Merciful heavens, do we really need a message telling us to be nice when offering a reply to a new person? I'm all for civility, but this feels, I dunno, intrusive? Patronizing? Nursery school-ish?
I think the only thing that's missing for me in the official Mastodon App is that there's no formatting in toots. If the Mastodon app was able to show formatting then I'd use it more (compared to the website).
Why isn't toot language autodetected by default in Mastodon's mobile app continues to elude me.
My number one cause for toot edits is precisely changing the declared lenguage of a toot.
It should default to autodetected and be clearly visible which language has been detected so you can change it if it fails.
