For me, being #NewHere is also a chance to start afresh, although I maintain a presence on the #birdsite for now.

It’s a shame to see folk joining the #twittermigration & instantly seeking to recreate previous cliques & large followings.

What’s surprised me is the new, more global, like minded connections I’ve made, broadening my bubble and I’m loving it.

@Gargron Honest question: who watch the watchmen? I found that instances have rules generally well stated, but enforcement is not clear. I love that I can control my own timeline, but how do I know that "unfiltered" content is reaching me? E.g. Are any instances being blocked by my admin or are local "takedowns" happening? Are admin actions public and visible somewhere? #MastodonMirgration #fediverse
