Mastodon lists -feature, which used to help me organize my timelines, seems broken.

Lists seem to empty themselves out of content. Sometimes the content of my followees disappear from the list daily, sometimes stays a few days.

Am I the only user with this problem?

EDIT: 3 days without problems, I'll wait a couple of days before calling this resolved, fingers crossed 🤞

The lists -feature* seems totally unusable, since the content people toot stays on the list for a couple of hours and then totally disappears.

Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Should I just stop using lists and have everything in my home timeline. This makes it pretty messy. I really liked using lists.

#MastodonLists seem broken. Anyone else seeing this on mastodon.social?

I set up a list with two accounts in it which post frequently but the most recent toot in the list is from SIX days ago.

Reloading doesn't change this. (I'm using the website and the link (for my account is) https://mastodon . social/lists/98786

I checked one of the listed accounts and sure enough, they are tooting as normal, including a few hours ago.

@ellane Yes, as has been said already (sorry to repeat), one can follow the hashtag and have lots of lovely posts come up in your home feed that one may not have seen otherwise.

But what I'm thinking of, is because I like to curate my intake of content, it would be great if we could add the obsidian tag to one of our #MastodonLists , and then set that list to only show those posts when you are on your list page, but not in your home feed.

I feel like this would free up the home feed a bit more, and allow one to consume certain content at times that are personally more suitable. Like not getting posts about work related topics when I am enjoying my time off for example :P

I do this with news accounts here, so that my feed isn't filled with news but instead with real peoples posts. But I can still pop onto my list page and get the news when I want to.
