Looking for a #recommendation for a #tablet.

Asking for a friend :), so 'm also looking to understand the space, to support them, as I don't own one.

requirements:
- keyboard (could probably look for one separately via bluetooth?)
- should be durable, to throw it in the backpack
- privacy & security (this is more of a software requirement, but maybe you have opinions on the OS)
- mainly for browsing/webapps

I use https://fed.brid.gy/ myself and that seams to work fine and I hope the other way around too

so what's the issue with the #list option to hide posts of the accounts in the list in your startpage timeline? I get all the posts of these account still in the home timeline

On #Mastodon I use the "advanced web interface" in ⚙️ to display lists, home feed, and followed hashtags in a multi-column layout in a computer browser (Vivaldi).

But when I use Fediverse in the browser on mobile, I switch to normal view owing to the multi-column view being illegible on small screen because the browser (#iOS with #SafariBrowser ) doesn't automatically create scroll bars.

Do you use advanced web view? And do you also use it on mobile – in which browser?

Do mobile apps display followed hashtags in the home feed, too?
Do mobile apps support multi-column layout?

Fediverse audiophiles I need your help!

Even if you are not, please boost so more people can see this ❤️

In short, I need a couple of loudspeakers.
Context: since I have so many vinyls and CDs at home I decided to build a simple hi-fi system just for them (like if it was the 2000s 🙃)
I’ve found a second hand Denon avr1708 and a CD player, and I already had a ~10 years old record player. Now I just need a couple of loudspeakers but I literally have 0 idea how to choose one. I just read some infos about ohms and watts but that’s all. I’m also not much an audio expert so I don’t know which kind of “sound” should I be looking for in a speaker.

If you could suggest some specific speaker I would appreciate it, but since I’d prefer to find something second hand I’d rather like tips about what to look in a speaker, also some dos and donts when buying them second hand

The system is in a 4x4 meters room. I can put speakers on shelf and even hang them to the wall if they’re not enormous

If I’ll be able to find something decent second hand, it would nice to spend no more than 200€, otherwise I guess I could spend 3/400€ for new speakers (I hope not 😬)

The music I’m going to hear is quite diverse since I enjoy electronic (Justice, Daft Punk, Polo&Pan), alternative rock (MGMT) and much pop music and songwriters. However electronic and alternative rock are my favourite genres overall.
I also want to dive in the music collection inherited from my parents which has different genres, mostly pop and rock between the 80s and 90s.
