I just got a #GivingTuesday #fundraising email from #Mass50501. I have a ton of respect for the work they're doing and I know they're all volunteers and therefore perhaps they don't have a ton of professional fundraising experience, but still… Surely they should realize that fundraising emails tend to work better when you put a donation button or link in them.

It's costing #Mass50501 around $100k to put on this Saturday's #Boston #NoKings event. None of this goes to the organizers, who are volunteers; it all goes to pay for the AV setup, the stage, and other hard expenses necessary to throw a major rally attended by thousands of people.

Being frustrated by the lack of concrete information about #NoKings Boston on the 18th. #Mass50501 still says "details coming"; #MassachusettsPeaceAction and #mobilize.us say BOTH noon-4 AND "time to be announced"; #SwingBlueAlliance (who I've never heard of before) says 10-1. What time is a body to show up? I guess they're arguing with the city about use of Boston Common or something, because they all also say "exact location to be announced".

It's only three weeks away!
