Milano, 1 mar. (askanews) - L'attivista iraniana Masih Alinejad piange di gioia alla notizia della morte dell'ayatollah Khamenei. In un video pubblicato su X la giornalista e scrittrice, che vive negli Stati Uniti, dice fra le lacrime: "Ogni giorno mi svegliavo e leggevo che il mio popolo moriva per colpa di Khamenei, ma questo è il primo mattino in cui non accade. Voglio correre e urlare".
Poi scende in strada, urlando "Khamenei è morto libertà", mentre passanti la abbracciano.
Masih Alinejad, che era stata condannata a morte da Teheran, aveva denunciato alcune settimana fa all'Onu le violenze del regime e la violenta repressione delle proteste di piazza. "In 24 ore hanno ucciso 40.000 persone", diceva, il 18 febbraio, leggendo i nomi di vittime.

Then she goes out into the street, shouting “Khamenei is dead, freedom,” while passersby embrace her.
Masih Alinejad, who had been sentenced to death by Tehran, had several weeks ago denounced to the UN the violence of the regime and the violent repression of the protests. “They killed 40,000 people in 24 hours,” she said on February 18, reading the names of the victims.
