I've posted about #MartianMemorandum before. I needed some days to put my disappointment about this game into more structured words:

After this, I'm now a bit afraid to re-visit the subsequent parts of the series.

So I finished #MartianMemorandum last night. I wanted one night before posting here. Yet, my opinion didn't change. I can't say I enjoyed the experience. The game increasingly rubbed me the wrong way. Everything felt so... calculated. Like the whole Mars bit... surely that had "nothing" to do with Total Recall having been the previous year's summer blockbuster. This game never showed its own identity, no artistic vision. Or at least I didn't find it.

Progressing on #MartianMemorandum only slowly. The game is too chatty for my taste. Most progress is achieved through exhaustively going through all dialogue options with everyone. The goofy tone in these doesn't help.

Played a bit further. The digitized graphics are quite washed out. And dark. It is sometimes hard to see what something is supposed to be. Or even to notice there is something to see at all.

Revisiting #MartianMemorandum, the second #TexMurphy game. The opening of the OBVIOUSLY EVIL millionaire giving Tex his assignment is very well made, atmospheric.
