關於我和鬼變成家人的那件事 (Marry my dead body) is a Taiwanese supernatural comedy, which plays on the Chinese concept of ghost marriage, ending up with a young homophobic policeman getting ghost-married to a recently deceased (killed in a hit and run) gay guy.
It's very funny and also a reminder of how far ahead Taiwan is in all LGBTQ+ matters to the rest of the world (and especially Asia).

Once one accepts the slightly strange basic story, it's a very cute movie with well-balanced doses of crime, action, comedy and even some romance. Austin Lin sometimes reminds of Joe Locke (Netflix/"Heartstopper"), which is probably not a coincidence. Sometimes it's a bit too much drama, but it's okay and fits into the movie. Definitely a movie to watch again sooner or later.

影片本身的剧作结构有明显瑕疵，这个故事的体量更应当在100min而非现在的130min；正如我们批评《#绿皮书》中的黑人角色又落入#黑人教父 的刻板印象一样，《鬼家人》的毛毛也落入了#FairyGodfather 的窠臼。但越过这些缺陷，我们更应当看到和拥护的，是影片如何巧妙糅合传统（冥婚）与现代（同婚）议题，达成了与广大观众的强烈共情，这是只有#台湾 才能拍出的作品。
