Chrono Trigger is one of my favorite games of all time, and I replay it every December.

I originally sketched this last year to celebrate getting a perfect save, but I didn't have time to finish it then.
After Toriyama's passing, I decided it was time.

I LOVED the first time you get to the future in #ChronoTrigger and run into the lifeless husk that is Robo's shell. He's basically a perfect character, I love him. One of Toriyamas best designs ever. The characters also react how you'd expect them to, with Marle kind of freaking out and Lucca showing the right amount of curiosity but, you know, thats a lot of rats.

#Marle is running away from home, so I imagine her trying a little harder to pass off as a local but not doing a great job, that includes a rushed hair recolor and not realizing she shouldn't leave the castle with all that jewelry on 😅

I wanted to make sure the pendant was more visible and while Toriyama has used this design in CT, #DragonBall and Dragon Quest III, its still pretty timeless so no need to change much.
