Una fonte sostiene che l’inizio della fine del loro legame risalga al 2019, quando Meghan collaborò con l’allora direttore di British Vogue Edward Enninful per il numero “Forces for Change”. Insomma, vecchi rancori di cui si torna a parlare perché il nome di Wintour gira molto, essendo lagato a doppio filo al grande successo del capitolo 2 de Il Diavolo Veste Prada. “Meghan ha scelto di schierarsi con Enninful, e questo ha fatto infuriare Anna. Anna la odia. Meghan non vuole pagare e non restituisce mai le cose“, le parole della fonte al tabloid. Ma non è finita qui perché questa fonte a quanto pare ne sa una più del diavolo e sostiene che Wintour non sarebbe l’unica ad aver abbandonato la corte senza corte di Markle: “Lei sta andando in crisi perché sa che nulla sta funzionando. Basically, old grievances that people are revisiting because Wintour’s name is swirling around a lot, being closely linked to the huge success of the second part of *The Devil Wears Prada*.
