This aligns with the story in the book "The Great Leveler" from Walter Scheidel explaining that the only history-proven events to eliminate #inequality in society are uprisings and war and with "The Fourth Coming" by Neil Howe predicting a crisis moment resetting the cycle every 80 years or 4 generations.
In the end this is a society example how small differences in a system can grow to a point that the system comes out of balance resulting in a resonance disaster.
This can be prevented with the right dampening mechanism in place. The issue is that the type of capital which can create riches is changing over time (see "The Code of Capital" by @KAPistor [...]

ONLY by paying you earn right to complain.
In a #MarketEconomy, paying for services also incentivizes development of alternatives to which you can switch to if/when a provider becomes abusive or manipulative.
For true manipulators, we need #AntiTrust. #LaissezFaire is #utopia
@Patricia @eternalgoldenbraid The effect the market has is to systematically disentropise wealth, concentrating more and more of it into fewer and fewer hands over time. That's pretty much all it does.
People who observe what a system does and promote it, intend that outcome. Systems don't have autonomous purposes, they're not self conscious agents: their purposes are what self conscious agents use (and promote) them for.
