Finished "The Darker Side of the Moon." I would not consider #MarioOdyssey finished and have no desire to get the remaining 498 moon thingies.

I think I figured out what bothers me about it. In an open world game, the most fun moments for me are when the players gets to some place and feels like "oh, I'm clever and wasn't supposed to get here." Odyssey is so content dense that the world feels designed for you to trip over stuff. There's no places I wasn't supposed to go.
