#Today was a busy 1.Decided to cycle from the #MarinaMarket to #TheBlackMarket to #Aldi to #MahonPoint.
Some of it was on cycle lanes, some on the #MarinaGreenway, some on roads without cycle lanes. The cycle lanes sections were terrifying but the roads were panic-inducing. People zone out so much in cars. Picked up a cycling rain jacket & full finger gloves in Aldi (& #yarn!) Then went to #Halfords for a new bike. They don't cater to women. I was ready to drop €2-3k on an upgrade.

#CorkCityCouncil are refusing planning permission to Marina Market to continue as a food hall. They are citing problems with parking and environmental hazards. These issues should be discussed and resolved with the authorities to find a way forward.

We need to have this decision overturned immediately and allow the fabulous Marina Market to exist as it is.
