Some people were surprised that the Triathlon was held in the Seine - that was for 20 minutes.
These guys are going to take just over 2 hours.

Solo Swims of Ontario this year, but that was eclipsed by the incredible swimmers recognized at the #SoloSwims Annual awards at Niagara-on-the-Lake, including the extraordinary Elizabeth Fry, who has now completed a marathon swim in each of #OurGreatLakes, Maggie Regan's route-record, and Sean Nuttall's 100km double crossing of #LakeOntario, a fitting honour to the legacy of Canadian #MarathonSwimming legend, Vicki Keith. A presentation on #UrbanWater and #MarathonSwimming that some very patient urbanists and philosophers endured on Friday, at a wonderful 10th anniversary meeting of the Philosophy of the City Research Group at Brooklyn College. This might be the weirdest take on a classic marathon swim: urban swimming as flâneury!
