Testing Heat Pads on a Winter Hike

A reluctant start to a winter hike turned into a rewarding day on the mountain. With temperatures plunging below freezing and low-hanging clouds, hesitation nearly kept me on the couch. But a nudge from my wife – and a pair of heated warming padsmade the change.
