I do appreciate the #Makenoise #sound. These instruments do not sound immediately great, it usually requires some work to make them sound good but for me that's not an issue. But they do have a certain harshness or edge to their sound that I find appealing. For me too much of modern electronic music is resolving into blandness and samyness that is just boring. The same is with electronic instruments. I don't think Makenoise is part of that camp.

Great to see #Makenoise finally incorporating #MIDI into their #eurorack #modular systems. They had good start with their standalone 0Coast #instrument with interesting MIDI integration but dropped the ball after that. Strega and 0Ctrl did sadly not have MIDI nor did any of their modular systems. This seems to be changing now and I think it's improving the overall #connectivity of these systems and by this making the instruments more accessible.
