Why do David Eby’s freshly re-elected BCNDP, whose Health Minister swiftly promised my BCED K-12 wife Novavax availability in the election lead up months ago, now refuse to even respond to her emails?

Must we join Elon’s right wing hate site just to communicate with our out of touch BC govt!?

Politicians like David Eby deflate the BCNDP’s legitimacy by making false promises like this in an attempt to mislead voters.

Does Eby think we voted BCNDP because we enjoy having to beg the apathetic Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix for basic means of covid mitigation?

David Eby’s campaign clearly lied to us about providing Novavax access (just as John Horgan’s BCNDP feigned support for TMX opposition in the 2016 election) simply to steal our votes. As soon as they have them, they toss our concerns aside and abandon us.

Power corrupts, and re-elected govts often forget that those whose voted them back in, did so for good reasons. To ignore those reasons is to ignore our democratic voices.

ALL in BC should have equal access to covid vaccines. Pfizer is not an viable option for many vulnerable.

Those who must take Novavax for health reasons should not be, yet again, abandoned by Bonnie Henry’s BCNDP.

We demand access to Novavax now or Eby and his cronies can expect a landslide Conservative win next election in BC.

All my future votes in this province will go to the Greens regardless of threat from the magaCons.

I just cannot continue wasting my vote on this flip flopping, out of touch BCNDP.

They ignore covid, they ignore long covid, they ignore Novavax requests from teachers, they ignore covid transmission in hospitals, they ignore the societal damage this unmitigated pandemic is reeking on our schools and communities.

All of us abandoned to a virus by their well paid, capitalist, economy focused health officials.

This BCNDP govt has embraced societal sickness and now refuses to provide viable vaccine options. Disgraceful politicking. Vote them out.

My wife is an #immunocompromised #k12 #bced teacher who has yet to be vaccinated in BC this respiratory season despite her pleading to our BCNDP govt for access to #novavax.

She had to send another snifling, sneezing child home from her school recently. It seems parents have been knowingly sending their kids in sick and unmasked again. Quite upsetting.

Her covid conscious principal decided to send out a letter to the whole school, reminding them, yet again, not to send their kids in sick.

This should have been Dr. Bonnie Henry’s job to educate awareness and prevention, instead she gets a three figure salary to spread the covid immunity misinformation which emboldens these parents currently ignoring covid.

My wife has also been the only teacher masking for months at her new school. Recently, two other teachers remarked on her mask and began masking themselves after seeing her set an example.

This too could have been our Lead Health Official’s achievement; to inspire masking rather than pretending an ethical request is nothing but a personal restriction.

We deserve Public Health Leaders in Canada who educate and inspire action on covid rather than repeatedly encouraging complacency with constant sickness.

Dr. Bonnie Henry is paid with our tax dollars to spin lies which deceive and gaslight those few still listening.

We desperately need new public health officials in Canada. Officials who are covid conscious and aware of the havoc this virus is reeking on our communities, our province and our country.

Dr. Bonnie Henry has long since surrendered to this virus and given up on basic covid prevention for personal comfort.

Our current “health leaders” will never be able to inspire hope after publicly accepting defeat and embracing hopelessness as our new norm.

The sooner Health Leaders like Dr. Bonnie Henry and Adrian Dix are replaced, the sooner we in BC and Canada can truly start working towards a safer, healthier, more covid conscious pandemic life.

I probably shouldn’t post about this… It’s just that watching my wife suffer through covid this last week and rush back prematurely to an unmasked #bced school is beyond disheartening. I feel sick.

After barely 6 covid sick days off, bced staff started calling, desperate for her to return to work. There were no substitutes available to cover for my wife, who previous to covid has had to live with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

She is now slowly recovering from a #covid infection she received from the unmasked #bced class she’s so hastily been thrown back into.

This is truly unsustainable #bctf. Covid sick students should be masked. Fellow staff and teachers should be masked. My wife got sick while wearing an N95 everyday simply due to the unchecked viral load being accepted and normalized in #bced schools.

If we’ve learned anything this last year, it’s that one way masking is just not good enough. Does #worksafebc even care? I’m sorry but your child’s maskless attendance should not be more important than my partner’s lifelong health.

Due to my wife’s diligent masking while sick, I managed to avoid covid this time. We also slept apart every night and barely saw each other this last week.

It’s not lost on me, however, that had parents and teachers done the same and masked their sick kids, this all could have been avoided.

In the end we’re all only as strong as our weakest link. In this case our weakest link is our covid minimizing, uncaring “top doctor” health minister #BonnieHenry.

Teachers are not expendable. Society should be #masking to protect them. I can’t believe I’m begging people to care at year four of this tragic pandemic but that’s where we’re at.

Our #educators lives matter, care for one another and #MaskUp ‘cause this #bcndp govt has long since signed off on sickness.

She’s paid to deny masks are useful while peddling her hand washing book. She’s paid to hide hospital outbreaks and rising death rates while minimizing #covid transmission in #bced schools and hospitals. She’s paid to publicly claim victory over a virus she’s silently embraced in pursuit of private health.

No one in #BritishColumbia voted for #BonnieHenry, yet as #PHO she calls the covid shots for all of us. No one polices #BonnieHenry, as “top doctor” she outranks us all.

I’m no longer sick of #masks, I cherish them; they’ve kept us healthy this entire pandemic. I unfortunately can’t say the same for #BonnieHenry and #AdrianDix.

Truth be told, I’m past sick of both of them. Their faces are the faces of defeat and a constant reminder of this #bcndp’s #eugenic surrender to #covid19bc.

Their briefings only serve to trigger the ongoing sadness and despair I feel for a govt I helped vote to power, who gave up on control of transmission and instead focused on restricting covid information and minimizing societal sickness and death they caused by giving up.

For #bcpoli to move forward, both #AdrianDix and #BonnieHenry must be replaced with someone less #corrupt who actually cares to combat covid.

#BonnieHenry will forever remind me of my loss of trust in public health. Whenever I see her I’m reminded of the daily lies, misinformation and all the disgusting praise she got for surrendering our province to #covid.

We in #BC deserve a fresh new #PHO. One that is less tired of lying or distracted by her next book. One without #GBD motives and a winery in addition to the exorbitant salary she gets pretending to be a doctor.

We in #BC deserve a true public health leader.
