📣 Open source maintainers are concerned about the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Don’t panic and watch this webinar!
This webinar, organised with GitHub as part of the #MaintainerMonth, clarifies:
- How the CRA impacts your project.
- The relationship between maintainers and manufacturers.
- How time is clarifying the doubts around the CRA implementation.
- Why the CRA FAQ is the must read resource to stay up to date.
Maintainers are the backbone of open source.
Their work is often invisible, but essential.
Here's just a couple of things maintainers provide:
🧩 They bring order to chaos.
💬 Foster respectful collaboration.
🔐 Keep our tools secure.
Whether you're just starting out or building the next big thing, maintainers make it possible.
Join us in celebrating them this month and every month. 💚

Is there a list of slop-creation agents that are active on GitHub? Not the kind of review-bots like code rabbit that seem to be behaving themself but for things like this sort-of plausible PR that requires a code-review twice as long as the actual code:

We’re focused on digital infrastructure for the 21st century. That means we’re committed to the long-term stability of the open source ecosystem, and centering maintainers and their work. May may be #MaintainerMonth, but for us, recognizing and supporting maintainers isn’t limited to a one month on calendar – just like maintenance itself.
