A small but important maintenance release is here:

🛠️ Fixed a CANBUS issue introduced by the new Raspberry Pi Kernel v6.12.47

📦 Updated base image paths to use oldstable (Bookworm) to keep builds stable and compatible.

💡 If you’re wondering what happened to v2.2.1 — that one didn’t make it past internal testing due to a base image config issue. Fixed now! ✅

 I got my #Biqu B1 running with #Klipper via #MainsailOS.

 Man it was difficult for me. Being the idiot I am, it took way longer than it should or would have taken anyone else.

 But it's back up and running with MULTIPLE backups of the configs on my laptop.

 Now I just need to tweak the configs untill it prints reliably. Like... I KNOW I must have messed up the Pressure Advance config. But for, i can print again after a month of downtime.

🚀 MainsailOS v2.1.0 released!
CANBUS preconfigured, Wi‑Fi enabled by default, plus various fixes & improvements.

Just finished installing #Klipper and #MainsailOS on my Ender-3 v2 with a CR Touch and a Sprite Pro extruder.

Next step is calibration 😅

Ok, now I'm doing this #klipper thing the hard way after all. Installed #MainsailOS on a #RaspberryPi 3B, generated the firmware for the S1 Pro and managed to flash it after 10 attempts. Mounted an S2DW to configure input shaping (had to generate firmware for that too - it has a RasPi 2040 chip onboard), leveled the bed and set up a webcam for time-lapses. Not too bad for one long evening! Now I just need to tweak everything so I can reap the speed benefits of Klipper!

Ein #Creality #SonicPad für 99,99€? Ich könnte fast schwach werden! Da hätte man #Klipper und ein Display in einem schönen Gehäuse.

Andererseits könnte ich auch auf das fette Display verzichten und bspw. #MainsailOS auf einem vorhandenen Raspberry PI installieren. Das wäre vermutlich die vernünftige Entscheidung.

Also, bin ich jetzt mal vernünftig oder lieber unvernünftig?

We found a bug in #MainsailOS. The WIFI power management was not deactivated in v1.0.0, which can result in WIFI issues. That's why we have just #MainsailOS v1.0.1.

This error can lead to problems for some. But we still recommend everyone apply the patch to fix #MainsailOS.

How to fix it?
Run: curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mainsail-crew/MainsailOS/develop/patches/patch.sh | bash

This will also bump your #MainsailOS to v1.0.1 and should be visible in the System Panel in #Mainsail.
