A friend who lives in Tribune Tower invited us to dinner. Before we went to his apartment, he took us up to the top. The building is one of the most striking in the city and sits right on the Magnificent Mile next to the Chicago River.

The public express bus from Hyde Park to downtown Chicago has its northern terminus right near Michigan and Wacker, at the southern tip of the so-called #MagnificentMile; and last night I had to walk the entire length of the Mag Mile to get to the steakhouse where I was having dinner with my cousin, so I decided to take lots of photos, 12 being shared here in three posts.
