I'll say it again: #maglev #transport, and indeed all high speed #transportation, rail or otherwise, is the wrong solution for the wrong question.
The better idea is inverting the assumptions, and asking why, instead of moving people, we aren't making better #design #architecture #urbanism #planning choices, so that people/goods don't need to be moved, at all, let alone at high speeds or over the long distances at which those speeds are even viable, in the first place?
