In de buurt van Lille is een dode gevallen bij een botsing tussen een hogesnelheidstrein en een vrachtwagen. Het gaat om de machinist van de trein. Volgens de Franse nieuwssite TF1 zijn daarnaast zeker twee mensen zwaargewond geraakt. Nog eens elf anderen liepen lichte verwondingen op.
