After having a horrid week, it was nice to get to the weekend and actually get things working instead of smoking.
I removed the original 3v barrel batteries from the Mac II and replaced them with CR2032 in remote cases which I will stick somewhere inside the case.
The Mac II boots fine, no need to "jumpstart" it. I connected the SCSI HDD but something on the drive went pop so no go there.
I connected an external BlueSCSI to it, found it had 2MB RAM, so I upgraded it to 8MB.
I'll look at running System 7.1 on it with some applications to show off at the Train and Hobby show next month
