#Gaza / "Enough with your uncompromising stubbornness, Hamas!" (Ibrahim Abrash)

[...] One of the renowned Arabic proverbs, attributed to Ali bin Abi Talib, is "Admitting a mistake is a virtue." This saying has a religious foundation, acknowledging that humans, including prophets and messengers, are not infallible, particularly in mundane affairs. This is even more applicable to
political leaders.

[...] The reason for this introduction is the unwavering stance and unyielding nature that has consumed the #Hamas movement, its refusal to learn from the experiences of other peoples and its previous ventures that have harmed the national cause. The latest of these was the "Al-Aqsa Flood operation", which provided the Zionist entity a pretext to execute what it had planned for #Gaza and the entire national cause. Despite this, the Hamas leadership insists on its position and refuses to acknowledge its mistake, speaking of heroics and achievements while disregarding the people's suffering in the Gaza Strip, which has reached the point of people resorting to consuming weeds and animal feed, and the degradation of their dignity and humanity by the occupation, war profiteers, and elements of Hamas itself.

[...] Hamas' withdrawal from its inflexibility and unwavering stance could safeguard the national cause from the schemes of the Zionist entity, which are being orchestrated in collaboration with the West and certain Arab nations. This could also protect the Gaza Strip from a war of annihilation, its people from displacement, and even the resistance from a catastrophic defeat that the individual heroics of the resistance fighters would not be able to mitigate.
