On the drive back from #MTE14 I visited with some very old ‘friends’ — the Early Cretaceous dinosaur tracks in Mill Canyon outside Moab, UT. I was lucky to be part of a team of artists that worked on interpretive illustrations for the site.

Heading into the last round of talks at the great 14th Mesozoic Terrestrial Ecosystems conference. Yesterday presented a poster on a Triassic Cinderella story—matching fossil footprints to the foot skeletons of potential archosaur track makers.

Part of an upcoming Chirothere project with Andy Heckert and Hendrik Klein—more soon!
