Just to be clear, I'm talking about the show, and not the movies. The show was more hit-or-miss, the movies were amazing.
#MST3K was/is Mystery Science Theatre 3000, a sketch comedy sci-fi show from the 90s that originated from Minnesota Public Access TV. They showed uncopyrighted terrible, horrible, sci-fi and horror movies and "forced" a human lab rat and his robot companions on the Satellite of Love (SoL, look at the acronym closely) to watch the movies.
