5 μαχητικά καταρρίφθηκαν εν πτήσει: 4 F-15E Strike Eagle και 1 A-10 Warthog.
1 F-35A υπέστη ζημιές για πρώτη φορά σε μάχη. Ο πιλότος γλίτωσε.

1 στις 5 απώλειες οφείλεται σε φίλια πυρά ή σε εσκεμμένη καταστροφή για να αποφευχθεί η κατάληψη από τον εχθρό.

Υπήρξε ένας τραυματισμένος αξιωματικός, μόνος σε ιρανικό έδαφος για  μέρες, καταδιωκόμενος από τις εχθρικές δυνάμεις. Κατά τη διάρκεια της επιχείρησης διάσωσης, ένα A-10 που χτυπήθηκε από ιρανικά πυρά κατάφερε να φτάσει στον εναέριο χώρο του Κουβέιτ πριν ο πιλότος του εκτιναχθεί. Το αεροσκάφος συνετρίβη στο Κουβέιτ, ο πιλότος διασώθηκε σώος και αβλαβής. Ελικόπτερα δέχθηκαν πυρά, μερικά από τα οποία υπέστησαν ζημιές. Στο έδαφος, δύο MC-130J και τέσσερα ελικόπτερα MH-6 Little Bird έπρεπε να καταστραφούν από τους ίδιους τους Αμερικανούς για να αποφευχθεί η κατάληψή τους.

Αυτό που δείχνει συγκεκριμένα αυτή η επιχείρηση: η αμερικανική αεροπορική υπεροχή είναι πραγματική, αλλά έχει κόστος, ακόμη και υπό τις καλύτερες συνθήκες.

Iran Deploys New 9-Dey Air Defense Missile System to Counter US and Israeli Aerial Threats.

The Iranian defense forces are ready to deploy their latest generation of air defense systems, including the 9-Dey, a new type of surface-to-air missile that uses the same 6x6 chassis as the Iranian-made Sevom Khordad road-mobile long-range high-altitude defense missile system. This system is fitted with a new missile launcher equipped with two blocks of four containerized missiles ready to fire. The future deployment of the 9-Dey comes amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel.

This is the system that took down 2 American MQ-9 drones in Shiraz today.
