At 1103 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. There are numerous roads flooded in Bates County
from the heavy rainfall the past couple of hours. Between 1.5 and 5
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Warrensburg, Clinton, Butler, Holden, Adrian, Garden City, Rich
Hill, Pleasanton, La Cygne, Mound City, Whiteman Air Force Base,
