What? O’Neil Cruz scored the fourth run for the Pirates after those unfortunate mistakes? That’s quite interesting!
No comments on the bottom 3rd inning, but like my coworker said... O'Neil Cruz should have common sense by using the sunglasses, then those botch mistakes wouldn't happen anyway.
At least I got to witness the new system in action when we thought O’Neil Cruz was given a walk, but the call was overturned, resulting in a strikeout. Remarkably, Brandon Lowe hit his second home run, bringing the score to 5-3 in favor of the Pirates. Therefore, I’m content with their performance in the third inning, as we desperately need a run to compensate for O’Neil Cruz’s two blunders.
Forgive me, but will Yohan Ramirez be considered better than Paul Skenes solely based on this game? When Skenes exited the game, the Mets fans gave him a standing ovation. Is that genuine appreciation, or were they merely being sarcastic due to the 5 runs? The bottom of the second inning was quite impressive for us.
Why did the umpire wear a coat when the weather was pleasant? O’Neil Cruz delivered a remarkable hit to kick off the first inning. Did you hear that? O’Neil Cruz had a haircut? Is that right? It made me chuckle when Brandon Lowe surprised everyone by hitting the first home run of the season, putting the Pirates ahead 2-0. Kudos to the Mets pitcher who effectively struck out three consecutive Pirates players to end the inning.
