...I just learned that Office Open XML is actually an open format. If you were used to LibreOffice, you wouldn't actually know that since they push for ODF. I feel a bit more emboldened choosing OnlyOffice, now.
(Mac users, I've heard that iWork supports it fine, too.)

Another low for #Microsoft: Software that you've paid a one-time fee for will soon just outright lose the ability to create, edit or save documents.
Sure, not *supporting* old software after a certain point is reasonable. But stripping software of its core functionality under the premise of an expired certificate is straight-up foul play, if you ask me.

La sensación final (o más bien inicial) que se me queda es que este proyecto puede hacer más daño a la comunidad del código abierto que a Microsoft dividiendo a usuarios, empresas y administraciones públicas entre LibreOffice y Euro-Office. Ojalá me equivoque y la competencia sirva para enriquecer ambas plataformas.
