Thirty-five years of funding history for @[email protected], now being connected to the research it supported. A good read on what open grant #metadata looks like in practice: https://doi.org/10.64000/n2yke-dcq91 #openscience

Open funding metadata is the backbone of transparent research. In our response to the Barcelona Declaration Call to Action, we show how DataCite is advancing award DOIs, funder PIDs & metadata enrichment to connect funding with research impact: https://doi.org/10.5438/9dw2-8g96

Our colleague Dominika Tkaczyk together with @MsPhelps will be facilitating a pre-conference workshop at #FORCE2026. The session will explore the use of open vs. closed research #metadata in decision-making, the role of infrastructures like Crossref, and what communities worldwide can learn from each other in advancing openness.

I want to post a photo, but I need to strip the Metadata. I don't know how to do that. What are people using to strip Metadata from digital pics? #photos #metadata

We heard some very powerful presentations this morning, including this bilingual pitch by Mathias Born and Floriane Pochonlevit from Opendata.swiss / BFS.

We've hit a milestone: over 2 billion citation links now exist in the Crossref #metadata corpus. The full blog post covers what this means for discoverability and #research, and includes a downloadable dataset. Read more:
