The ruling permits them to proceed with expert testimony and preserves their ability to present archaeological, historical, forensic, and ancient DNA evidence, subject to further proceedings before the Court.

While even the author of the original article does not feel that $140k is literally the new poverty line, his piece has prompted important conversations about "benefit cliffs" and what level of income is actually required for a family to cover the basics *without outside assistance.*

2. Agree to repay states for fronting money for SNAP; OR
3. End the government shutdown while protecting ACA health insurance subsidies.
Maryland is one of 25 states that, along with the District of Columbia, are suing the Trump Administration to force it to use SNAP contingency funds to help keep hungry Americans fed if the federal government shutdown continues into November.
