I repeat that Donald Trump is a fucking idiot pretending that some marine regiments can keep the islands next to the #StraitofHormuz.

Until now, US has been launching expensive stand-off weapons mostly from outside #Iran’s range.

But #marines trying to hold ground would be within #artillery range from the mainlaind.

That means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week barrages of dumb old-school munitions. From positions dug in to the mountains over decades.

And I ain’t even mentioned #FPV drones.
