Yesterday I discovered an awesome rock band from New York: Red Vox.
I knew that the most awesome The Cybertronic Spree played MAGFest 2025, and I explored what other bands played the event.
It was my delight to find and listen to Red Vox.

Finally, we get to my absolute favorite concert at this year's MAGFest -- MASTER BOOT RECORD. AmigaBill and crew, including @[email protected], had seen them before and raved about it. This show did not disappoint. It wasn't just the Workbench 1.3 startup screen before the show, or the Commodore computers they had on stage, or the Amiga and C64 game, demo, and cracktro footage they shows in the background. The music was mind-blowingly awesome. Seriously, if you ever get a chance to see them live, do it. There were a bunch of fursuiters performing music in the hallway jam pods this year. I caught one set where a group performed Megalovania from Undertale. Later, I saw Key the otter and Rhubarb the nidorino from Otter Chaos! performing with Scurrow. They closed their set with "Ana Ng" by They Might Be Giants. That set was pretty darn cool.
