Play #Lusternia

Have a stupid amount of beasts

Get *more* beasts

Why?

because I *can*.

Playing #Lusternia (game previously mentioned for being fucking stupid in regards to implementing things)

It is time for Valentine's quest shit.

I forget every year what I need to do.

@nil This definitely isn't right - there's plenty of people still developing #MUDs (us included!) and plenty that have come into existence since 2002! We want to be found, it's just a hard genre with a small niche to market toward when most people prefer to have visuals in the games they play.

Some of the popular ones still around these days are the games run by Iron Realms Entertainment (IRE) - #Achaea, #Aetolia, #Lusternia, #Imperian, and #Starmourn.

#Discworld is also popular, and a newer one called Procedural Realms has gotten a lot of positive feedback, too.

@nil Sadly, the list is very outdated and inaccurate. Since then there have been a significant amount of new games - they have come and gone, but there is regular progress in the genre.

You can look up #StarMourn , #ProceduralRealms , #WrittenRealms that have popped up in the last few years.

Otherwise there are still more classic ones such as #Lusternia that have launched since then too.

The community as a whole is fairly active still on /r/mud and on Discord.

Bought the figurine rune in #Lusternia and now my mom-tors item is around forever!
When I get the 50 credits from the design commission in #Lusternia I can turn in an artifact rune, get the figurine rune, and it'll be great.
I've been playing #Lusternia again. I should play more #LamentAWW but keep forgetting to. There's also Black Desert Online, and Diablo 3 seasonals, and Darkest Dungeon's new Shieldbreaker.
Back on the desktop, time to eat ice cream, play #Lusternia and watch Dman stream on twitch. I'd watch urealms, but again, just not super into it lately. Also Dman is a friend and stuff
