Really enjoyed the annual trip to #Lundy yesterday (organised by #DevonBirds). Over 40 species of birds under the glorious blue sky & sun. Great company and a cider in the Marisco Tavern to finish off the day.

Mark Lundy is going to be released from prison after 23 years behind bars.

I could never make up my mind about Lundy. During the trial he seemed to be guilty as sin. The evidence was damming. But Steve Braunias' various interviews with the man over subsequent years have added a big question mark. I trust Braunias' judgement.

Today I have been mostly distracted by the island of #Lundy.

Flyover of #Lundy in the Bristol Channel. #Qgis and #Blender, lidar rasters from DEFRA.

Fed a slope raster from qgis through a colorramp to a mix shader node to choose between grass and stone textures.

A fabulous day trip to #Lundy organised by #DevonBirds. Excellent company and 42 species of #Birds -- I guess the highlights were the Puffin, a female Whinchat and a female Golden Oriole but the pint in the Marisco Tavern was good too 😀
