Overview Along the westernmost portions of Interstate 10 within the State of New Mexico, west of Las Cruces and the Doña Ana County line, are communities located within Hidalgo, Grant, and Luna Counties. The county seats are located at Lordsburg, Silver City, and Deming, respectively, with Silver City home to Western New Mexico University and Deming home to the Customs House Kitchen and the Deming Luna Mimbres Museum.
