A Apple TV anunciou que a aguardada 2ª temporada de “A Última Coisa Que Ele Me Falou” (“The Last Thing He Told Me”) estreia mundialmente em 20 de fevereiro de 2026, com oito episódios inéditos. A nova fase do drama estrelado por Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, e Angourie Rice será inspirada no livro “The First Time I Saw Him”, sequência escrita por Laura Dave, autora do best-seller original que deu origem à série.
A história retoma os eventos cinco anos após o final da primeira temporada, quando Owen Michaels (Coster-Waldau) — marido desaparecido de Hannah Hall (Garner) — reaparece inesperadamente, desencadeando uma nova corrida contra o tempo. Hannah e sua enteada Bailey (Rice) precisam decidir até onde estão dispostas a ir para reunir a família antes que o passado as alcance.
Além do retorno de Garner, Coster-Waldau, Rice e David Morse, o novo elenco inclui Rita Wilson, Judy Greer, John Noble, Luke Kirby, e Michael Galante. Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove e Michael Hyatt também voltam para reprisar seus papéis.
A nova temporada marca ainda o reencontro nas telas de Garner e Greer, 20 anos após o sucesso da comédia romântica “De Repente 30”. Em imagens divulgadas pela Apple, as atrizes aparecem em cenas ambientadas em Paris, sugerindo uma mudança significativa de cenário na trama.
A produção executiva permanece nas mãos de Reese Witherspoon e Lauren Neustadter, da Hello Sunshine, ao lado de Garner, Laura Dave e Josh Singer, vencedor do Oscar por “Spotlight: Segredos Revelados”. Aaron Zelman (“The Killing”) se junta à equipe criativa como co-showrunner.
Baseada no novo romance de Dave, que será publicado em 6 de janeiro de 2026, a segunda temporada promete expandir o universo emocional e de mistério da série, abordando as consequências das decisões de Hannah e a complexa relação entre verdade, lealdade e perdão.
