#FensterFreitag at the "Snake House" ("Schlangenhaus") in #Luisium Park in #Dessau. I'm racing to get there as quickly as I can for a family wedding tomorrow. I'll miss the ceremony, but with any luck, I might just make it in time for a slice of wedding cake. 🍀🤞🍀

The #Schlangenhaus was built in 1790 for Louise, Duchess of Anhalt-Dessau. Originally designed as guest accommodation, its cellar was also used for storing fruit. Today, it's available to rent as a holiday home, which must be quite the experience. In the second photo, you can see how it earned its name.
