#ScribesAndMakers 1 Nov What creative project(s) do you hope to work on this month?

I'm having a couple of books on sale now and at the end of this month - so I might talk a little about those. WIP wise, I'm gonna try and rewrite the part that's been bothering me so much.
Otherwise, I might just take a break.

#ScribesAndMakers 4 July How do you feel about breaking the fourth wall? If you write, have you ever done it?

Lucie broke the fourth wall all by herself.
Honestly, I had no say in it. She simply kept talking.

#PennedPossibilities 716 — What does your MC like to do in their free time?

Lucie is a passionate cook. She had the choice of either eating pasta for the rest of her youth or taking to the stove herself, as her mother is helpless in the kitchen.
A necessity turned into true passion. She's even planning to do this for a living one day.

#WordWeavers 26 June: MC POV: Would you rather be able to see 1 week on the future on your birthday OR always remember where you put something you keep losing?

Lucie?

"Can we make this also about stuff my mother keeps losing? THAT would be really helpful. I mean, have you seen Penelope's chaos? I love my mom to bits, but living with her is... challenging. At least in some regards."

#PennedPossibilities 709 — Tell us how your MC and antagonist (or villain) know each other.

We'll revert to book 1 for this #LucieIsNew. And he is definitely an antagonist, not a villain.

Lucie has known her cousin Markus all her life. She admires him and even has/had a little crush on him (don't worry, I don't do love triangles, ever).
When Noel enters her life, it upsets all of Markus' plans for her, making him the eventual antagonist of book 1.

#PennedPossibilities 703 — Share a scene with us that you’re proud of writing.

I love this scene: showdown at the end of #LucieIsNew. I love it because Noel turns from the little prince everyone wants to protect into a clever fighter.

Context: Markus, Lucie's werewolf cousin, visits to check on her, and Noel has been hiding from him in the forest. Markus found out, they're about to attack each other when Lucie steps in and promises to forsake Noel - which Markus accepts and Noel... doesn’t.

#WordWeavers June 7. Antagonist POV: If you were an animal, which one?

"What kind of question is that? I'm a wolf! Duh."

#WritersCoffeeClub - Day 26 November. What's the best feedback you've ever received on your writing?

Tough question. Early on, a German librarian called #DieMaskenVonFlorenz her favorite book of the year, which truly rocked me.

But I guess the one below for #LucieIsNew almost made me cry because that book is so dear to my heart.
