ShadowPlayHubby bought me an #AlanMoore writing course (pre-recorded, not live) for X-mas. So psyched!!! Moore's "Providence" series, as disturbing as it was, showed me how the #Lovecraftian universe can be tweaked and reinterpreted -- which is what I'm doing with my own saga -- emphasizing all the Lovecraftian elements of my upbringing... Lovecraft wasn't exaggerating about the fish stench of "Innsmouth" -- I remember when Newburyport had open-air fish markets back in the 1970s, and it STANK!
