GlitchRewatched the pool hall/bar scene in Love Syndrome III, and it's so ridiculously over the top. And fun because of it.
Like, for most of the fight, Day doesn't even stop playing pool. Or billiards. Or whichever that game was.
Looks like it's time for Patrick to explain that he already knows Poom is a vampire.
Joe is fluffy again! I mean, important stuff is happening, too. But, fluffy Joe!
LongFrank teaming up and fighting (other!) people is reminding me of my favorite parts of #LoveSyndromeIII. The whole combat couple thing.

Itt, you might regret saying this later.
If Night hates cars forever I wouldn't blame him. I forgot that his parents died in a car accident as well.
Also Itt feeling incredibly guilty, and Night assuaging said guilt. Including about how he hurt Night in The Past™. Which, according to Night, is "to stay buried," despite Night being the one harmed then. Their tangled and messy history is already coming into play again.
I've decided to give Love Syndrome III a fair shake. I'll let everyone know if it was a mistake. Hey that rhymes!

It's interesting to note how pre-amnesia, post-change, Day handles conflict with Itt. He's got a much longer fuse (relative to both later and earlier).
And again, the flashbacks to pre-change Day help solidify that understanding for the viewer.
But it also doesn't shy away from the fact that present day Day (heh) and Itt's dynamic is not perfect. It's still toxic.
Oh my gods there are two huge editing issues in this one scene (either that or someone thought a picture in picture of a second shot of the same moment was a good idea -- right in the middle of the screen)
So, I'm actually giving the uncut version a chance, as it contextualizes more of what's going on.
(My recollection is the extra NC material isn't really "worth" switching, but ymmv. 
)
One thing I am realizing though, is that the color balance *is* reason enough to switch.
Like, damn. That's a big difference.
So... given I'm currently the only person in the #LoveSyndromeIII tag, I feel like I should say at least a few things I liked.
There are some great lines. "Do I need to ask your permission to see my henchman?" still makes me giggle.
There's the comic self awareness that is everyone's panic over Day's amnesia, given their messy past.
There's a beautiful wedding scene in the last 15 or so minutes of the final episode.
