It's time for Blue Labour to fuck off, they have failed.
If they want to fight ReformUK, they must not become ReformUK.
As Haigh says, it's 'naïve' to carry on with this failed tactic.

“But I wanted a new iPhone, didn’t I?” 😂

The resignation of Transport Secretary #LouiseHaigh over a mobile phone offence is a bump in the road for #KeirStarmer.
“As a former director of the Crown Prosecution Service, Keir Starmer should know that a spent conviction provides the opportunity for people to rehabilitate.
“It’s clear his decision to remove Louise Haigh from the Cabinet and replace her with someone on the Labour right is not about her previous offence. It’s a brazen manoeuvre to stifle pro-union voices within government.”
‘Labour right’ MP becomes transport secretary as Louise Haigh resigns

"... she criticised P&O for their appalling labour relations... The difference [between Starmer &] Haigh on this issue was serious. ... I have little doubt, someone in Labour's corporate team planted the [spent conviction] story in the press ...
"She made a mistake once, relying on poor professional advice. There but for the grace of God go most people."

I posted this on Twitter this morning: https://twitter.com/RichardJMurphy/status/1942861045426516103 My point is serious. The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. The question that needs to be asked is, why is that?...
The #LouiseHaigh matter has NOW become a matter about #CardboardBoy and his desire to suck up to big businesses

Unless, of course, there is more to it than we're being told. Can't rule that out.
Especially as she was one of the few non-evil people in the cabinet. Maybe Starmer wanted to get rid of her for that reason?
Louise Haigh has quit as Transport Secretary after it was revealed that she'd been convicted for a fraud offence.
Wait, didn't she know about that before it was revealed?
Seems to me that politicians have no problem with breaking the law, it's just getting caught that's the problem.
