We have this #lamp for some time now. We have spent a day of our holiday hunting for it at various garage sales, etc in #Denmark. Got it for half of the price you’d have to pay in Poland or for a new one…

We’ve finally got the amount of spacers and the bulb right so it’s at last a usable light…😍

Couldn’t help myself!🥰 #LouisPoulsen #Flowerpot #lamp #Denmark

We’ve also found another little #LouisPoulsen treasure - the Flowerpot #lamp!🥰

This will need some cabling work, because it’s been cut very short!🤷🏻‍♂️

#Denmark

Damn it. 5 hours of driving a car with simultaneously painful and itchy shingles was a blast… NOT…😂 That included packing everything to the car and carrying everything up to 3rd floor on return…😔

I need to thank myself for pushing to buy a car with ventilated seats…🥰

There are good things too! On our way out from #Denmark we’ve managed to snatch #LouisPoulsen #PH5 pendant #lamp for a good price of €250…😂

Competition: win an NJP Mini table lamp by Louis Poulsen

For our latest competition, we've teamed up with lighting retailer David Village Lighting to offer readers the chance to win a NJP Mini LED Table Lamp by Danish brand Louis Poulsen.

Designed for Louis Poulsen by Japanese studio Nendo, the NJP Mini retails at David Village Lighting. It combines Japanese design principles with Louis Poulsen's Scandinavian roots for a sleek and modern aesthetic.

One lucky Dezeen reader will win a Louis Poulsen NJP Mini LED Table Lamp from David Lighting Design in a finish of their choice.

The shade of the NJP Mini table lamp references Japanese chimneys

With a shade designed to reference Japanese chimneys, the lamp emits a softly diffused downward direct light from an integrated LED light source concealed within. The design of the NJP shade also features an opening at the back, which allows for a subtle hint of light to escape.

Available in a selection of muted Scandinavian-inspired finishes, including brown rose, petrol blue, taupe, soft pink and light aluminium grey, Nendo intended the lamp to be "simplistic yet highly functional".

The main arm of the NJP Mini can rotate 342 degrees around the base, making it as suitable for a desk or task-oriented workspace as it is a reading nook or bedside table.

To further add to its adaptability, the NJP Mini features an integrated stepless dimmer switch located upon the shade, which allows users to adjust the light according to their needs.

The lamp is also fitted with a timer function that will turn its LED light off after four or eight hours.

One lucky Dezeen reader will win the NJP Mini LED Table Lamp in their colour of choice

Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen was founded in 1874 and has since collaborated with designers and architects including Poul Henningsen and Arne Jacobsen.

More recently, the brand commissioned artist Olafur Eliasson to create the OE Quasi Light, a geometric pendant lamp combining two three-dimensional shapes that slot together.

David Village Lighting is a furniture and lighting retailer with a portfolio of over 70 designer brands, including Louis Poulsen, Muuto and Tom Dixon. Founded in 1981, the retailer specialises in decorative and architectural lighting for both residential and commercial clients.
